We arrived in the afternoon and found the keys as arranged. To welcome us there were tasty pastries and fruit on the kitchen table. The next day the host came by and we were able to clear up a few things. Mariella gave us some tips and sent us the odd message on WhatsApp — that worked really well. We could park right on the street. We enjoyed breakfast in the sunshine on the balcony. We also used the kitchen for dinner, but not before enjoying the sunset first. Swimming at the lovely nearby sandy beach, with blue skies and water and air temperatures that felt the same. October with plenty of space. Truly unwinding on the beach.

Very basic kitchen utensils, and a gas stove with no ignition — you have to light it with a lighter, risking a burn. Two and a half flights of stairs. The €50 cleaning fee and €40 for sheets on top don't go down well, it feels like Airbnb.

A perfect stay! We spent just one night in Porto Cesareo, but it was enough to appreciate how lovely the place is and the quality of the property. The apartment was clean, welcoming and had all the comforts we needed. The owner, extremely kind and always available, gave us great tips on where to have dinner and what to see nearby. The location is excellent. Steps from the sea and the centre, perfect too for anyone short on time who still wants a taste of Salento.

The apartment has every comfort. Perfect location for reaching the beaches and the centre of Porto Cesareo. Signora Mariella is extremely kind and hospitable — she gave us little touches you don't expect, and we really appreciated them! Recommended!
