Our family has always lived on this stretch of Ionian coast: we know the morning light, the scent of the olive trees, and the name of every cove. We spent every summer here as children, and the first house we opened to guests is our grandparents' own: we restored it piece by piece so as not to lose its memory, and so that you too can experience Salento from its very essence. The other four came one at a time, over the years, chosen and cared for with the same idea in mind

Cleaning was a little lacking, the pool had been filled before we arrived with water so cold it was unusable, there were geckos in the house, and a constant bad smell from the bathroom pipes.
